Expanding Capabilities

Lincoln Structural Solutions has expanded our materials testing capabilities by bringing Charpy V-Notch impact testing in-house with the addition of a state-of-the-art NextGen Class D impact tester. This high-precision system supports 150 J, 300 J, and 450 J testing configurations, giving us the flexibility to evaluate a broad range of metals for toughness and fracture resistance in accordance with industry standards such as ASTM E23 and ISO 148.

Our Class D tester is equipped with automatic specimen feeding and cooling capability, streamlining the testing process and improving throughput while reducing manual handling variability. With precise temperature conditioning from room temperature down to −80 °C, we can reliably simulate demanding service environments and deliver highly repeatable results.
